Biographical history
Παλάσκας, Λεωνίδας. Ανώτερος αξιωματικός του Πολεμικού Ναυτικού. Σπούδασε στη Ναυτική Σχολή της Βρέστης και κατατάχθηκε στο γαλλικό πολεμικό ναυτικό. Το 1844 προσλήφθηκε στην ελληνική ναυτική υπηρεσία και συνέβαλλε στην πρόοδο του ναυτικού. Υπηρέτησε Υπουργός Ναυτικών σε κυβέρνηση του Επ. Δεληγιώργη (1877).
Ενώ πέθανε πικραμένος για την αντίδραση που συναντούσαν οι προσπάθειες του για βελτίωση των ελληνικών ναυτικών πραγμάτων.
