Ο Γιάννης Πανίτσας ήταν Έλληνας ποιητής και συγγραφέας, γνωστός με το λογοτεχνικό ψευδώνυμο Γιάννης Γαλανός. Γεννήθηκε στην Πάτρα και σπούδασε φιλοσοφία στο Λονδίνο και νομικά στην Αθήνα. Πέθανε το 2014.
