History
Πολιτικός από την Πόλη. Στον Αγώνα έδρασε κυρίως σε θέσεις διοικητικές και οικονομικές. Υπήρξε γραμματέας του Κωλέττη και αργότερα βασικός παράγοντας του γαλλικού κόμματος. Έγινε νομάρχης επί Όθωνα, βουλευτής και επανειλημμένα υπουργός.
