History
Η κοινότητα Κλαυσιού (Αιτωλοακαρνανίας) συστάθηκε με το ΦΕΚ 261Α - 31/08/1912. Το 1940 το όνομα της κοινότητας διορθώθηκε σε κοινότητα Κλαυσίου, ενώ με το ΦΕΚ 63Α - 22/03/1943 αποσπάσθηκε στο νομό Ευρυτανίας. Με το ΦΕΚ 244Α - 04/12/1997 οι οικισμοί της κοινότητας προσαρτήθηκαν στο δήμο Ποταμιάς και η κοινότητα καταργήθηκε.
