Ο Πολύβιος Θεοδοσιάδης ήταν επί 30 περίπου χρόνια (1914-1947) μέλος και πρόεδρος του τμήματος της Κυπριακής Αδελφότητας στο Πορτ Σάιδ. Με το θάνατό του (1947) άφησε το ποσό των 30 αιγυπτικών λιρών ως δωρεά και ανακηρύχθηκε ευεργέτης. Τιμήθηκε με το βουλγαρικό παράσημο Ordre Nationale du Mérite Civil.
