Biographical history
Γλυκής, Νικόλαος (1619-1693), εκδότης και ιδρυτής εκδοτικού οίκου της Βενετίας παράλληλα ασχολούνταν και με το εμπόριο. Ο εκδοτικός οίκος των Γλυκήδων εξέδωσε πάνω από 1200 ελληνικά βιβλία τα περισσότερα λειτουργικά και θρησκευτικά. Μετά τον θάνατο του τη διεύθυνση του εκδοτικού οίκου ανέλαβαν ο γιος του Μιχαήλ, τα παιδιά αυτού και ο ανιψιός του.
