History
Η Janet Barton Morgan, γεννήθηκε στο Worcester της Μασαχουσέτης το 1907, σπούδασε ιταλικά, πιάνο και ξιφασκία στη Φλωρεντία, και Ελισαβετιανό Δράμα στην Οξφόρδη. Έζησε στην Ελλάδα με τον σύζυγό της Charles Morgan από το 1933 έως το 1938, και έπειτα στο Amherst. Έγινε η πρώτη γυναίκα διάκονος της Επισκοπής Δυτικής Μασαχουσέτης σε ηλικία 72 ετών.
