Οι Ορθόδοξοι του Λιβόρνου ίδρυσαν εκκλησία γύρω στο 1754 και οργάνωσαν αδελφότητα που πρόσφερε υποτροφίες, συντηρούσε σχολείο κλπ. Η εκκλησία κατεδαφίστηκε το 1953 και η περιουσία της ανήκει σήμερα στο Ελληνικό Ινστιτούτο της Βενετίας.
