Biographical history
Ο David Richard Morier ήταν Άγγλος διπλωμάτης που υπηρέτησε στην Αίγυπτο, τα Δαρδανέλλια και την Κωνσταντινούπολη. Επίσης, συνέγραψε το "Photo the Suliot, a Tale of Modern Greece," 1857.

Η συλλογή περιλαμβάνει την αλληλογραφία του Δημητρίου Σχοινά, αντίγραφο μιας επιστολής του Αδαμάντιου Κοραή προς τον Γεώργιο Σχοινά και ένα χειρόγραφο του Ρωσοαγγλογάλλου, το οποίο φυλάσσεται στη Βιβλιοθήκη και είναι ένα από τα παλαιότερα μυθιστορήματα στην ιστορία της ελληνικής λογοτεχνίας.
